As in humans, canine babies become much more still when delivery time is near. This is normal...I promise.

Some get milk with in the last week the puppies get still a day or so before labor then you can see them moving a lot as they are lining up for birth if you can still hear the heart beat and she is not over her due date or trying to push then she most likely OK but you can have a vet check her they can do a x-ray and tell how many pups she has and if everything looks ok

It would be hard to feel heart beats i have trouble getting them with a stethescope-you might be feeling the mom's elevated heartbeat and mistaking it for pups, but you can usually see them moving or at least feel them if they are really crouded in there. If there are just 1-2 pups you may not be able to feel anything.

You need to get your dog spayed before she gets too far along. Look around in the phone book for low cost spay and neuter places. Try the Humane Society. Ask about the abortion pill for dogs. If you don't you're going to get some odd looking dogs. Big body, little head or little body, big heads. It just won't be good for the pups.

if you can feel/hear the heart beats then there fine. My dog has had 3 litters and i never felt none of the puppies moving till the day she had them!

I'd be calling the vet every week, to make sure there oh k LOL they told me stop calling she was fine!

this is normal you need to keep trying, and before long you will be able to feel them move around, just lay your hand on her belly and wait for a few, I think it feels so cool to be able to feel them moving around in their,
Just give it time and be pateint, good luck with the new babies,

Just like human babies, they sleep in their mom's tummy. Try again later.
