Sorry, no - most likely your eyes dried out - also eyeball may be temporarily distorted from contact lenses pressing against your eye if you were sleeping on side of your face - hopefully your vision will go back to normal in a few hours. If it does not, you need to see an eye doctor as you may have scratched your cornea or done other damage.
And despite what the other posters here have said, don't sleep in contacts as this can lead to infection and blindness as it cuts off oxygen from eye and bacteria can breed around lens - this includes extended wear lenses. You can also permanently damage your corneas - our bodies have amazing recuperative powers, but if you abuse it, you can lose it. Some lenses are less dangerous than others, but having read the research, this is still a bad bet. Links below.

I did that several years ago! After sleeping all night with my contacts in, I woke up with blurry eyes. In fact, I could barely see. I went to my ophthalmologist, and he said that I'd scratched both my eyes. He administered an anti-biotic ointment. The next day, my eyes were fine, but felt as if I still had gravel in them. The good news is that your eyes will heal very fast. Just leave your contacts out for a day or two.

Look these words up:
Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis
Corneal Neovascularization
Corneal Ulcers
Corneal Edema
They all can lead to BLINDNESS and they call can cause you to NEVER be able to wear contacts again. If your contacts were not made nor fit for extended wear, you are in danger. People like you are a time bomb WAITING to happen.

Perhaps not a good idea havent you ever lost one.....you really need to consult a eye specilist about this and take them out at night because you could very well end up with infections that are going to permantly impair your vision

if you have those 30 day contacts you should be ok cuz i most of them are FDA approved its its like the 2 week ones then its not always good. like everyone else was saying its not good for your eyes, its prob. ok every now and then (like 1 or 2 times a month maybe) but thats it.
