should i begin to take them today or should i wait until tomorrow? its 250mg. 3x a day... thanks

Take 1 dose tonight and another tomorrow morning. Try to have at least 6 hours and no more than 9 between doses. Amoxicillin is best taken with food to improve absorption. Common side effects include minor skin rash and GI upset - specifically soft stools or diarrhea. The latter can often be improved somewhat with a cup of yogurt about 2 hours before the evening dose.
Next time, pester your doctor or pharmacist for information; you never know what some whack job on the web might say.

Call the pharmacy, They should always go over the dosage if you have never taken it. Some antibiotics you are supposed to take two first dose and then one pill 3x daily etc. Check first if it's not on the bottle. Feel better
