yeah she is we where having one of those kinder genteler classes and this was one of the topics. None of us were in vietnam so I figured I'd ask some of the guys here that were. But when an insightful guy brought up the EFP comment I can see why she is hated. If she supported the enemy of the guys that help main tain the freedoms our founders forged well you know where I'm going there.

Oh Airborne, hmm that is it, Airborne. Well there is a big difference between an Airborne 11B and an Airborne 92A.
One is out in the bush fighting the other is punching keys on a type writer. Please find out what your dads OS was. I'd like to know it is important to where the discussion goes.

Were Jane Fonda's actions treason, or were they the exercise of a private citizen's right to freedom of speech? Man, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country but men who served and sacrificed during Vietnam.Fonda admitted: "I will go to my grave regretting the photograph of me in an anti-aircraft carrier, which looks like I was trying to shoot at American planes. It hurt so many soldiers. It galvanized such hostility. It was the most horrible thing I could possibly have done. It was just thoughtless.") These things and things like the libs do now days only embolden the enemy, which make alot of people traitors in my book.

Hi there,
I found a free download of World War II Pacific Heroes here: http://bitly.com/1qXE8Cq
it's the full version, avaiable for free! very fast to install
WorldWar II is a fascinating combat game set in the Pacific battle of World War II, where you’ll have to carry out air-air attack missions on board your p-51 Mustang, or ground-air missions, operating a powerful anti-air cannon.
Try it out

The only thing that saved Hanoi Jane from a trial for treason, is that the Vietnam War was not a 'declared' war. Otherwise, she is a traitor.

My dad and uncle (both Vietnam vets) both know her to be a traitor. they don't even have to think about it.
But as for today's celeb... Sean Penn went to Iraq to prove Saddam was a good guy (despite the rape and torture houses). and A number of actors and celebrities herald Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez as hero's despite the fact both the countries they lead imprison their opponents and terrorize anyone who disagrees with them. Granted we were not or are not at war with the countries in question (we did go to war with Iraq but that was later) so they can afford more lee way.

Hanoi Jane should have been tried for treason.
Instead she marries CNN's Ted Turner and turns the network into a liberal biased channel that is PRO enemy.

My Uncle was Airborne during Vietnam and did three volunteer tours of duty.
I asked him and he said that it happened over half of his life ago and he really has more important things to worry about. He told me he felt Bush and Cheney were bigger traitors because they do their evil deeds in secret and Fonda was a fool in public. But he is only a Vietnam vet...what could HE possibly know????
I'm just sayin'......maybe y'all should quit speaking for the vets???

She made a mistake, she did not kill anybody. The vietnam war a big mistake by the gov.of.the.us. they think they have the right to kill anyone who gets in their way. Let her be, all the u.s. people have big mouths. you will die is the words they like to hear. Jane Fonda is a great person, and she can move here in the Great Country of England.......by the way we won the WW2 on our own.
