I'm a Christian and I don't judge people. None of the Christians I know judge people. We just worry about the day that other people will be judged by God. It isn't up to us...do what you wanna do. I just don't get why people are so prejudice against us.

Excuse me...I should have said the day that WE BELIEVE we will ALL be judged by God.

I'm not judgemental, but I do kind of worry if people do not except Jesus as their LORD and Savior. There is no other hope than this when the world ends, it's not a myth or theory, it's a fact.

Any christian I have ever met, that has pronounced themselves proudly and outright as christians, are super judgemental when you say you are not christian. As though you have somehow insulted them, they get all defensive.. which has never made any sense to me.

To exist is to judge. You go meet someone new, you judge whether or not you want to see them again. If you see something, anything at all, you judge whether you liked it or not.

You cant take it all literally, you must listen to the meaning behind it.

You can judge whether to see someone again or not, but dont judge them as bad people, because until you have lived their life, through all of their experiences, you cannot be correct in your judgement. There is no "oh you're an idiot" type thinking, as that is judgemental. There is no "You're going to hell if you dont believe what this book says!" That is judgemental. Instead, be accepting of those around you, and trust that they are doing the best they can with what they have.

And being judgemental is part of human behaviour, we judge everything, and everyone, even as to how good a friend they might be. We just need to check ourselves, and remember to treat each other with love and respect.

I don't judge people, Christian or not. I notice a lot of your responses talk about MOST Christians being judgmental, which bothers me. I think it's likely that a small, vocal, well-meaning minority of Christians is giving the rest of us a bad rep. I say "well-meaning" because I think they believe they're being helpful--telling people what they believe to be the truth about sin and redemption "for their own good." I'm an evangelical--I get it. But when you force that kind of thing on someone who isn't ready to receive it, you do more harm than good.

And, lest we forget, God has a plan, and he lets us participate in his plan because he loves us, but that doesn't mean he can't take care of all of his people without our proselytizing. So, any fellow evangelicals out there, here's my advice: don't talk to someone about God until they've conveyed to you that they're ready to hear it. God will work his way around to them when the time is right.

I don't. Most of my family are Christian and they don't give me a hard time, nor do they judge me for not believing.. Most Christians I know are really loving. My landlord and his wife are Christians, they know that I am an atheist and they do not judge me, they are some of the nicest people I know. They babysit my child for me, if I am tight on money they are lenient. When I go to churches to investigate I don't feel that I am being judged.

I just treat people how I would like to be treated, with respect and most of the time I get it back. I don't carry that persecution complex on me cause I don't see it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with standing up against sin, but not put down the sinner. People that sin can say this is being judgemental. I know that sin hurts people and their lives and God sent Jesus so that we can be free from sin and its affect. I think some Christians need inner healing to get over hurts and disappointments, and Jesus can do this for us.

People get offended when Christians take a stand for righteousness in a sinful world. We all have to judge something one way or another as to whether is right and proper from a Christian perspective...it's important to judge correctly and also not hypocritically. We are all sinners and need to better ourselves in order to lead by example.

I think you're being judgemental by the statement you made. You are making a blanket statement about an entire religion that includes many denominations. I see many people being judgemental on this board not just the Christians.

Since Jesus said not to judge very clearly, and Christians follow the precepts Jesus gave, what does that mean about people who judge?

Everybody is prejudiced against everybody. Christians have it about the easiest of the bunch.
