For me, at first she was spinning clockwise. All you have to do is pretend that her right leg is her left leg and vice versa. Then she will magically change directions! At first it will be hard, but after a while the transition between clockwise and counter-clockwise will be easier. Cheers!

I've noticed that when the dancer has her right leg lifted, she is going clockwise - therefore we are using the right side of the brain.

When her left leg is raised, she is turning counter-clockwise, therefore we are using the left side of the brain.

Ways I have managed to get her to change directions:

Stare at her legs for a few minutes then look away for a couple of minutes. Then look again and she most likely changed directions. Try this a few times.

After staring at her for a couple of minutes, look away and stare at another moving object for a couple of minutes (cars driving past, the tv screen, the ceiling fan) then go back to the dancing lady and she would have changed directions.

sorry I can only see her going clockwise too, I tried looking at the top of her head and imagining it being in the front rather than the back as she's turning to try and change the illusion but I couldn't get it (my brain) to work quick enough

oh thankyou for the peripheral vision hint, I got her to turn by looking off to one side and circling my finger in the air in the direction I wanted her to be..that worked

btw..this got so much attention in Australia it was even on the nightly news

Whoa, that was weird. The first time I looked at it it looked like she was going counter-clockwise. Then I looked away for a bit and looked at it again and she appeared to be going clockwise. I don't know how it works... it's pretty cool, though.

There is nothing to figure out. It is all about whether you use your right brain or left brain more. Some people can see it go both ways. Others just can see one way or the other. For me it switches from time to time, but it is only perception, the thing is actually turning the same way all the time.

The only suggestion I can give you for making it change directions is to look down at the bottom of the screen and just slightly look up at it through your peripheral vision -- sometimes that makes it change for me...

Besides nice boobs, I see her going clockwise. If I concentrate on the "shadow", I can make her go counter-clockwise. As stated, it's a left brain/right brain thing.

I saw her going clockwise at first, but after a few minutes of focusing i could get her to switch back and forth between both ways.

I don't know. It's how you initially view it and what your brain registers first before you actually focus, I guess.

edit: i found watching her shadow's movement for a few seconds and then looking back at her helped me switch between the two directions.

She starts off going clockwise with her RIGHT leg up. But half way through she switches legs and dances in the opposite direction without you noticing unless u look carefully at her legs. Hope u get it... it took me like 5 min. to get !!!!!

I see her going both ways
But longer clockwise
That's a good test
I've taken other test like these and I come up both Right & left brained
I see both sides of a story and it's hard to make decisions
And that is sooooooooo true
