No, our numerical system is base 10 so he'd presumably have been born in 1 AD. The end of the millenium was 2000, the beginning was 2001.
We count 1->10, not 0->9.

BC=stands for Before Christ
AD=stands for the Latin phrase "anno domini" which means "in the year of our Lord."

But today many religious groups say AD means "after death"
Therefore Jesus was born in 0 or 1 AD, they are both the same year.

There is no 0 AD. It goes from 1 BC to 1 AD. Now they are calling it BCE ( Before Common Era )and CE ( Current Era ), but that's pretty ridiculous to think that 1 CE was anything like today!!!!!!!

I think that most historians say that Jesus was born in 4 BC. As of now, I really don't care unless the importance of it comes up later.

There is no 0 C.E.

If the guy existed, he would have been born between 8-3 B.C.E. This is going off of the dates of the census that was supposedly the reason Joe and Mary went to Bethlehem.

Nobody knows,but historians tend to presume he was a real person,irregardless of his claim to divinity; usually his approximate year of birth is estimated to be 4 ad. This is based on research material not available or discovered until the late 19th century.
