that they always get thumbs down? We are all allowed our ideas, but when someone states a serious answer, which is a good answer, and gets 8 or 10 thumbs down, don't you think that's kinda wrong? Discuss.

Thank you--I've been wondering the same thing myself. I don't give a thumbs down to an answer I disagree with. I only give a thumbs down if it seems to me that the poster didn't take the question seriously, or if he or she used it as an opportunity to be snide. I always appreciate a thoughtful argument, even if it represents an opposing point of view.

I left an answer saying how although predudice against athiests isn't racism, it's still a form of discrimination; and that did NOT go down well. Fair enough there are conflicting opinions, but sometimes theres just being unreasonable.

Some are dogmatic to only get their point across and block out every ones else answers. It's being selfish.

I think its just intolerance. Some people don't like views that are different from their own.
