It's possible that you're experiencing sleep apnea but whether it's obstructive or not, I couldn't say without seeing diagnostic results. Make an appointment with your primary doctor and ask for a referral to an ENT for further evaluation. If the ENT finds something positive, you'll probably be referred to a sleep clinic for polysomnography. Based on the findings of a polysomnogram, the possibilities are a CPAP, an APAP or a BiPAP machine. If assistive devices fail, surgery is an option. But don't worry about all this, you still have to take the first step and the possibilities may not come to pass.

When you feel that you have no oxygen, does that mean that you are short of breath? If so, then I would suggest getting checked out for asthma. Or, it sounds like it could be hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially if you're eating a really early dinner and going to bed late and not eating anything in between. Another thing it could be is Sleep Apnea.

My other guess could be maybe toxic mold in your place. Another thing, do you run any old heaters or leaky gas stoves? Who knows, maybe you could be breathing in toxic fumes (carbon monoxide) and you wouldn't know it, it is colorless, odorless, tasteless.

One question, do you live with other people that also experience the same thing?

You should get a check up as soon as possible so that you can find out what it is, so you can solve the problem. Good Luck!

It sounds like sleep apnea which means you stop breathing for short periods intermittently during the nite. It will definitely lower your oxygen level in your body. It will leave you tired because you're not sleeping well and your body can't function well on reduced oxygen. You may wake up feeling like you're suffocating. Apnea can be from a malformation of your airway. Have your doc check it out. There are treatments.

I'm not a doctor so i'm not saying that this is what you have, but it kind of sounds like you stop breathing in your sleep. I could be wrong, but for me it just sounds like it. I would suggest going to the doctor and getting it checked out. You never know, it could be something serious
