I seriously doubt Sony is going to come out with a different PS3. The PS3's hard drive can be taken out and a bigger hard drive can be put inside it, so you can increase the PS3's Hard drive storage whenever you want.

The 20GB and 60GB PS3's aren't in production anymore. Some stores may still carry the 60GB PS3 because it was just recently discontinued in production, but once all of the 60GB PS3's sell out, the only PS3's left will be the 40GB and 80GB PS3.

I think that Sony is finally satisfied with the PS3 consoles that it has out now. The only reason why I think Sony made the 80GB PS3 is because Microsoft introduced the Xbox 360 Elite with the 120GB Hard drive.

The first person who answered that question has no idea what they are talking about.

IBM and Toshiba design, make, and produce the "CELL" processor and other components for the PS3. Son't also sold some of its manufacturing plants to IBM and Toshiba.

People say some ignorant stuff in the forums.

Oh, and there are no more models coming out at this time.

C-ya.

Nothing is currently in the works from sony to produce a different PS3 version, the PS3 console isn't expected to be improved on because IBM has pulled their developement for Sony because of poor 1st quarter sales.

May be 120GB model (for Europe, because Europe doesn't have PAL 80GB).
