Co 3:5
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
1Tess4:5
not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God;
Rom 1:26
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
Rom 7:5
For when we were controlled by the sinful nature,[a] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death.
James 4:1-3
What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?
You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.
When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
James 1:13-15
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.
Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

In Galatians, a fruit of the Spirit is self control.
Much infatuation has a root with lust - a concordance can lead you to several verses about lust.
However, most of the time, at it's basic level, infatuation is not wrong. It is an emotionally, hormonally hyped feeling, but in most mentally balanced people, it is often harmless.
