I'm thinking of purchasing it, but don't want to be disappointed with my purchase, because it isn't cheap.

I downloaded the trial version(only lasts a few days or weeks)and I just didn't have time to use it then, as far as friends go, I don't have any who use it(who want to share it with me, some friend, huh?), and I don't think I've seen it cheaper than $80....ack...don't trust dl it off torrent either...lots of files there have viruses! grr

You can download a free trial version of Elements from adobe.com. That will let you give it a test run before you buy it.

before you spend the money on it, ask some of your friends. elements actually comes bundles with digital cameras, scanners, and other imaging devices. ask those friends to ask others. If no one has it, then shop around for a cheaper price.
