When I stand before God at the end of my life I hope I have not one bit of talent left - I hope I can say, "I used everything you gave me."
It makes me want to be a better person so He will be proud of me.

When you value yourself the most, you are best suited to value to a relationship.
We are never given dreams without also being given the power to make them come true.
The worst regret you can have in life is not for the wrong things you did, but for the things that you did not do.
It's not the great things you do that matters but the small things you do with a great heart.
It is better to have few possessions and much hope than to have many things and little hope.
The imagination of today is the reality of tomorrow.
It's so funny how we set qualifications for the right person to love, while at the back of our minds we know that the person we truly love will always be an exception.
You'll know that you miss someone very much when evry time you think of that person, your heart breaks into pieces and just a quick "Hello" from that person can bring the broken pieces back...
You get the most out of school when you go with the desire to learn. Get the most out of life by "going to life" each day with the desire to learn. Valuable lessons are all around you... you just have to open your eyes.
Opportunity is looking beyond the surface of a situation and seeing what others do not see.
discover your true purpose and discover your true potential.
Today's student of possibility is tomorrow's master of reality.
The forward steps we take in life provide opportunity for greater success and fulfillment by providing us with the knowledge of what works for us. In the setbacks of life there is opportunity to achieve our goals and dreams by trying new strategies and new paths...
One opportunity falling apart is another chance for a greater opportunity to present itself.

"fore a man who no longer has a homeland, writing becomes a place to live" Sorry I'm unsure of who said this but it means that for someone who feels that they don't belong anywhere, they can always belong in their written works. Its because I've moved so much, I feel I have no home, and I do so love to write. When I write I feel as if I can let go of everything, without anything able to harm me.
I actually love just about any quote I read, but this most certainly is my most treasured quote.

Sorry, monkey, but your reference is from Voltaire, not AC Clarke.
However, AC did say "Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not. In either case I find the idea staggering."
