you can either go to www.nyc.gov or go to 125 worth street in person

no cause you have to go down inperson . with 2 kinds of id to get the birth cert. and you can only get yours no one else .and yopu can not make copies cause it will have the stae seal which is required by law

going in person is the quickest most reliable way to have it replace, they give it to you immediately...
