I used to work in an office with this person who made it her personal mission to proof read every letter we sent out for typos. Then, instead of quitely editing them, she would make a huge fuss about it and get on us about the poor image we were giving. This was not part of her job, she just took it upon herself to do this and clearly enjoyed pointing out the mistakes of others. Most of us in the office found it extremely annoying.
So one day she had to mail out invitations for this very high class fundraiser we were hosting. They were sent to all these very well-off sponsors of the non-profit we worked for. One of the lines in the invitation was supposed to say "to serve the public interest" but she wrote:
"TO SERVE THE PUBIC INTEREST".

She failed to proof read her own work and mailed them all out like this.

"lol you're kidding right?"
No! I know it sounds too hilarious to believe but this absolutely really happened in my office . LOL!

I don't work there anymore. This actually happened about 6 years ago. And I'm still laughing about it right now ;)

LOL! If I was God, that's just the kind of stuff I'd do! 8^)

But no, I don't think it was divine intervention. Though it might be cosmic justice!

It would be divine intervention if a trickster deity was involved in this. Personally, I would call this poetic justice.

Has anyone tried to tell this person how annoying her fussing is? Or to just stop sending her the mailings that need to go out since it appears that it is not part of her job description? Or talk to her boss?

Darn that's a funny one and I am glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read your question or else my keyboard would have been wearing it by now... thank you for sharing. :)

No thats not divine intervention! LOL You have me laughing over here!

She was just a very mean person ( she probably had a few issues within herself and just took it all out on the workplace)

But no, this is far from divine intervention-God wouldnt use His power nor the Holy Spirit to publicly humiliate someone-which was the case here.

God is constantly speaking to us, though the consequences of our actions, or through the mistakes we make. God will protect us from getting into trouble with close calls, near accidents, or small accidents with minor injuries.. But, if we don't get the message, that these incidents are sending us, the next time the accident will be real, or bigger. God speak to us though inspiration, and though the events that happen in our lives.

LOL! Give her a taste of her own medicine and see if she likes the way it tastes! Maybe it'll make her think twice before she acts so childish again towards you! Good Luck!

Sound human to me, just magnified because of her own hypocrisy.

My favorite was from a poster advertizing a local fundraising clay-pigeon contest from the GOP:

"Be Patriotic! Learn to shoot yourself!"

I wouldn't consider it divine intervention, but definitely just deserts!

It's not divine intervention, it just goes to show how stupid she is. Got her fanny bucked right off her high horse, yup.
