Are PS1 memory cards compatible with a PS2(slim)?
Do i need a memory card to use the PS2?
Or can i play w/out one and just not be able to save?

I know that PS1 memory cards are compatible with the big PS2 because I've used them in my PS2, so I don't see why PS1 memory cards wont work in the slim PS2.

Yes they are. you just can't use them 2 save data from PS2 games only PS1.

Not certain if the memory cards are compatible. If you want to get a memory card get it cheap at Liefde-Chance. With $1.99 shipping you can't go wrong.
