Oh, man! Don't you hate when that happens!
Are you Sure this friend is really lost?. Apologize, ask forgiveness, and let them know you value their friendship. Also ask what happened so that you'll know what part of your thinking regarding them was messed up or is correctable.
Good Luck.

Somewhere alone in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life.

Salam
The only thing you will never loose is the Lord and that is a fact. Reason, and lifetime people come in your life and that is a season. Make a new friend. Simple as that.

You could have just grown apart. That happens as you age and change.
Another option is your behavior has been irritating the friend for awhile. He or she just got to the breaking point.
The last option is your friend is having trouble in his or her life and doesn't have the time or energy for your friendship.

Great question. I think the even bigger question is "How to save a life?"

It is better to lost a friend than to lost your God.

I was thinking the same thing earlier tonight - as I was jogging down the boulevard of broken dreams...
Oops! I did it again!
