pcs have salt, hydranated oils, and deep fried potatoes. it is not considered a veg because if you ate 5 bags of potatoe chips you still would not get the 5-10 servings of veggies you need a day, sorry lol

No. A potato chip is so thin & loaded with so much salt & oil that it barely resembles real food. But it does taste good.

no. there's nothing nutritious in a potato chip. just grease and salt. whereas if you were eating an actual potato, you'd be getting nutrition.

I guess you could say so, but it's a lot more fatty than any veggie and it's lost most of it's nutrition, so it sort of moved up to the sugars and fats section of the pyramid
