I used to be the hiring manager at Costco. Here's what I wanted to see and not see:

Want to see:
1. Well groomed and ON TIME!
2. Clean and professional attire that is at least as nice as you're expected to wear on the job.
3. Relatively articulate. You don't have to be a scholar, but don't talk like you're talking to your friends.
4. Energy! I want you to be excited (even if the job sucks) about working here. Don't be jumping up and down, but act like you really want to be here!
5. Figure out what you're going to say to these questions before hand: A. Why do you want to work at bla bla company? B. Why should I pick you over other applicants? C. What do you expect to be paid? (Do some research on what they pay)

Don't want to see/hear:
1. Shorts, or t-shirts (particularly concert t-shirts and the like)
2. Tatoos and excessive piercings. It's OK if you have them, but don't show them off.
3. Slang and curse words. If you think it's inappropriate, don't say it.
4. If you're high, or drunk, or whatever, don't bother. The interviewer will know and may even call the police. (This may sound like a super duh, but I've seen it on more than once occasion!)

Remember to breathe! Don't get discouraged if you don't get hired the first time. Keep at it. If it's a job you really, really want, be (some what) persistent. Go back in a week and ask if there's any additional information they need from you, but be very polite. DO NOT call them! They will call you if they're interested.

Good luck!

I dont know what Urban Behaviour is....but for a first interview, I would wear black slacks appropriate closed toe shoes, White blouse with a collar, and if you have a black Sweater Cardigan or Black Business type Suit Jacket it would be the most appropriate attire for a first interview, and impression.
Don't answer questions too quickly and stumble over your words, take a deep breath before you answer each question, as this gives you a split second to think about the answer before you blurt it out.
They will ask you things like:
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What are your career goals?
Why do you want to work for this company?
What can you bring as an employee to this company?
(Honesty, integrity, U like working with the public, and being helpful as it gives you a sense of inner satisfaction)
Hope that helps......Good Luck...

It is best to wear the company's product if you own any. What is the position for? Sometimes if it is for in the store, they would hire in groups. Do show that you can work well with others. So when answering, do not say someone else answered wrongly. Maybe you should say something like that is a good point, but...

They generally ask what you would do in certain situation and why you want the job. Research about the company so you do not seem uncertain. It is important to show a passion for this job.

A good rule of thumb is to wear to the interview what you would be expected to wear to work. I'm not familiar with urban behavior, but I would think you would at least want to wear nice slacks and an oxford shirt. What will they ask you? They'll probably ask why you want to work for them. It's common for an interviewer to ask what you think your biggest fault is. Try to come up with something like "I tend to agree to do too much work." (Think of something more creative than that.) They may ask about previous work experience you've had. Try to go to the interview with information about the company. Try to have a few questions to ask them. (What would i do each day? What would my hours be? Is there a training period?) Let the interviewer bring up salary; don't ask about it before they bring it up. Good luck.

Get a good nights sleep and eat breakfast in the morning. You will answer every question like a pro and whatever you wear as long as it is clean and business appropriate will be fine. During the interview look the interview person straight in the eye and always smile. Good luck and God bless you

Wear to the interview something respectable that is probably a little better than what you would wear whilst working at the company.

They may ask you questions like why you think you would benefit the company, your past experience, hobbies, what your future plans are, your weaknesses.

Good Luck

They'll probrably ask you:
-Why do you want to work for the company?
-whats your strongest/weakest qaulity ?
-where do you see yourself in 5 years?
-give you some type of situation that pertains to your job and ask you how you would handle it.
Why do you think you would be good for the position?
-tell me about yourself.

One of my college instructors gave good advice by saying you should have what is called a 30 second commercial for yourself and that is just saying something like "I am organized and able to work in a group or indepedently. People have told me I have great leadership skills........."ect. This should be at least 30 sec long when you read it back to yourself. The point being just go ahead and think of all your strong points and list them and be prepared to sell yourself to the employer. Believe me you don't want to be sitting there tomarrow saying uuuuuuuh when they ask you to tell them about yourself.

Keep your hands folded, it looks elegant and stops you from fidgeting. Make sure you have eye contact, make them feel as if you're talking TO them, not AT them. Have a positive attitude, and be friendly. Shake their hands when you walk in and be respectful. Make it so that you're not sucking up, but you are recognizing your position as someone lower than the person that is interviewing you.
