It's all caffeine right?
I am a coffee person, a Starbucks Double Shot Espresso person to be more accurate. But I come from a long line on tea people, my hubby is a black coffee/unsweetened tea kinda guy. I know alot of people who are strickly coke people... We are all on the hunt for the morning pick me up!

Tea. Even though mate isnt technically a tea, people call it that. It has something called matin which is like caffeine but better. It gives you energy but gradual and sustained so its less harmful to your heart and doesn't get you burnt out quickly. Plus it has health benefits. Try yerba mate from teavana. Its close to hot cocoa/coffee...

Both are good, just don't overdo. I think the docs say no more than two cups of coffee per day.
