don't put a flea collar on a puppy or a full-grown dog....it's just like wearing a fly-strip covered in pesticide around their necks. Use something like Frontline or Advantage -- just a couple of drops of liquid on the back of their neck. If it doesn't say on the box, check with your vet for the earliest age to use Frontline or Advantage.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in the US, it's pretty cool in most places and past flea season now.

Yes, he is too young and the flea collar is worthless. It only keeps fleas off of the neck. You can purchase flea medicine at the vets office by the tube. Do not buy any from a store as they are dangerous.

Any age is too young. Flea collars DO NOT work and are dangerous!!! Take it off ASAP!!!!
If he has fleas, get Advantage.
