We could be anywhere, in the Universe, an animal, a bug, a plant, a human. You get reincarnated depending on the energy level. If you were a good person in life you could expect to be reincarnated as a human being or even a higher level. Every religion talks about life after death ( heaven & hell), so there must be something good to expect, after this life.

while all souls are immortal (we have life after death somewhere), it is important to remember that we are not eternal like God is. God is the only truly eternal being in that he alone is without a beginning or end. God has always existed and will always continue to exist. all other creatures whether it be man or an angel or demon are finite in that they have a beginning and while our souls will live forever once we come into being we have not always existed as some false religions believe.

We lived in the pre-mortal existence with our Heavenly Father as His spiritual children. However the immeasured time spent, we learned, trained, and were taught things and attained certain levels of intelligence before the ultimate mission to come: mortal birth.

I think before we were born we were fragments of soul both new and used from a previous life...when we are concieved those fragments gravitate to the embryo based on applicability to the circumstances of the embryo (DNA, parents, toxins, potentials of things i don't understand)

We were with God as spirit children. While there, we learned what we needed to know to come to earth. That is our big test. I believe we are children of God. He created our spirits, and as such, he is our Heavenly Father. Our souls will return to Him.

Well, we were all present as genetic blueprints inside Adam's loins - seventy trillion blueprints to be mathematically accurate. And then when our parents conceived us, God blew the breath of life into us one at a time.
