I find by using humour alot, people mistake me for being happy, also try avoid complaining about other people when possible. Make the other person feel important by asking them questions about there day or things that they like. Give compliments, but make sure they are geniune.

Remember peoples birthdays, ask about there holidays, remember details about them.

if you aren't naturally i don't really know how you can suddenly be a happy person... i am usually quite happy but i can have my moody moments. try starting off the day with something that makes you happy (your favorite breakfast, reading, time to yourself, etc) always look at the positives throughout your day, even if it is hard to find one. take everything that has a negative effect (books, movies, tv shows) on you and limit or end your time with that thing.

One step at a time. Do things that make you happy for one, then try to do things socially and help others. Be good to people and they will be good to you. Live life for the best you can and the rest will fall into place. Best to you.

I am concerned that you want to be what others want, that is people pleasing behavior, not good for you.

I suggest you be yourself, find out who you are and be the best you can be.

Being happy is fleeting, it is not a constant. If you are, it can be a put on, phony.

start by thinking positively. Before you react or do something, think about how you would want someone to react and try to portray that same quality in your actions.
