HI im 14 and my body odor destroyed my life. It started when i was first starting puberty in fifth grade i started to smell. And i use deodorant and it doesnt seem to help because the antiperspirant block my under arm odor but my whole body smells. And people have said i smell like poo or But. and when i sweat i smell worser. i have researched and people said botisol seems to cure it but i dont know if its my puberty that makes me stink or its my diet or because i dont use a wash cloth. and i shower in the morning with irish spring and AXE body wash for my hair. My family says they cant smell me and some of my friends cant smell me too. I use AXE bodyspray but it seems to wear off in a while. So should i use crystal deodorant, change my diet, take botisol, take chlorophyll,or just get a cologne?

Unfortunately what your going through is typical and normal. People who say bad things about it often have the same problem. You need to eat healthy foods if you don't that can affect breath also get a dental exam. A cavity can cause a foul odors. Brush you tongue everytime you brush your teeth. For body ordor you need to start drinking alot of water on a daily basis. It helps the breath too as well as the skin from breaking out and stinking when you sweat. What water does is flush out toxins that buildup in our bodies. Toxins coming out of our bodies and mouth smell worse and worse with to little water. Water will dilute the smell. Sodas or anything like them will only make it worse.
I hope some of this helps. It's very common for teens to get smelly because of your hormones raging too. The more smelly you get the more water you need.

Try bathing with no perfumes instead use baking soda and a mild soap with oatmeal to neutralize the excess oils and odors while still leaving your skin clean and in healthy condition. Be sure you are drinking 8 8oz glasses of water a day and be sure to brush your tongue when you brush your teeth. Parsley tea is really excellent to cleanse the digestive tract and really clean your breath and it has essential oils that help digestion and neutralize strong foods (like garlic and onion) before the odor reaches your skin. When choosing a fragrance make sure it is natural like citrus or vanilla the effect of a clean fragrance on your skin even when you perspire is much nicer. Good Luck!

It really sounds like you have an internal problem going on there... And yes, puberty can also mess up your metabolism, Do you drink plenty of water? Are you a person that is constipated ,a lot? And yes you should use an anti bacterial body soap, and definitely use a washcloth. Do you eat garlic, cabbage , these tend to come out the pores ... I don't expect you to answer these questions, they are asked to get you to think ... And have you had your tonsils and adenoid checked , or do you need to see a dentist.??
