She'll take a few days to settle after surgery - call up the vet and ask him for some painkillers for her. It being an internal op, it's painful, far more so than a male.

There are pain meds that are very effective that the vet can get you, you need to contact the vet about it.

Depending on when the surgery was done, what you describe is either normal or excessive--normal if it was just done in the last 36 hours, not normal if it's been more than two days and she's still crying.

Contact your vet to update him, getting some pain meds for her would help her quite a bit.

If she's still crying by tomorrow, take to VET ASAP.
It could be the onset of an infection or something got botched up (albeit rarely).
After a spay, the kitty is sore, quiet, may be groggy/disoriented still, but not usually vocally crying in pain.
Pls. try to keep her comfy, warm and quiet tonight without any excitement.
Gd. luck.

If this is the first day of the procedure, let it be. She's in pain. Wouldn't you be after a major surgery? She's letting you know she's in pain. If she's still crying after a few days, call the vet.

our cat did the same thing.went berserk at other cats. Sounded like a rattlesnake if you got to close when she was eating. She left and hasn't come back. We think that they got something wrong at the vet
