I'm on a.. "diet"
in quotation marks haha.
but i've been eating alot healthier for the last 2 weeks.
Cutting out all fast food places (except the grilled chicken sandwiches.)
ive stopped drinking soda, although i didn't drink alot to begin with.
But in the last two weeks ive drunk green tea every morning, i didnt realize it was decaf though.
Anyway in the last couple days, ive been extremely sleepy. I go to bed at the same times, do the same activities, yet i am so exhausted. I wake up sleepy!! It was so horrible yesterday, i went to bed at 8 o' clock! and i woke up horrible.
Is it the tea? or??? could i be sick?

It could be the tea, but it's a good thing. It is cleaning all the toxic junk from your system. Keep drinking it and soon you will feel more energetic than ever.

Its probably not the tea directly causing your sleepiness. Some tea can cause sleepiness, but it has to be an anti-spasmotic like chamomile tea.

Perhaps you are sleepy because of the lack of caffeine in your diet. Did you stop drinking coffee or soda? Maybe that is it.

Tea is great for you weather you are on or off a diet. It has many health benefits and no fat content. For good tasting tea I like, www.customleaf.com

Try green tea with blueberries and vanilla. Its good hot or cold.

Well it looks like you totally cut out all caffeine from your diet. If you were drinking caffeinated coffee or tea every morning before, your body is probably not used to not having any. So wait it out a few more days, I'm sure you'll start to wake up.

if you make a drastic change to your diet, you will possibly feel tired, and/or sick. i very much doubt it is the tea. but if you are used to drinking something with caffeine, then you are bound to have some kind of withdrawal symptoms. stick it out and you should level back out in a bit. you might want to change to caffeinated tea tho!

i drank green tea several times a day for a few weeks in a row till i ran out of bags... and was too lazy to go buy more.
i was not tired or sleepy.
i don't think it's the tea.

i won't blame the tea if i were you. i mean i drink the minty variant every morning and i don't feel sleepy... it's also decaf. maybe you're cutting the energy foods off your diet.
