High school is a tough time for girls. I find the school counselors to be bored middle aged women who want to relive the glory days of teenagers.

To be honest, in a few years you wont care what rumors were spread about you (even if they are WAY nastier than bulimia!). Let the other students spread them. Chances are this rumor was started by someone jealous of your weight loss and trying to hurt you... dont let them win!

What will it take to convince your counselor? Nothing. They wont listen to you (ironic right?). Tell your parents what is going on and that you are being confronted on a daily basis by a counselor who wont listen to you or stop bothering you. By calling you to the office they are in fact disrupting your education. Have your mother/father/care giver call the office and tell them they cannot call you out of class anymore for these guidance sessions, but if they are truly concerned about you to make an appointment with you AND your parents/guardian to discuss the perceived issue with your "bulimia".

I know my parents would have been pissed if someone was taking me out of class to discuss a rumor with me on a daily basis. I bet yours will be, too. Present it to your parents and see what they can do to help you.

As for getting the students to quit- good luck there too. You have to let it die down and go away on its own. Dont give them any reason to believe the rumor (ie- frequent bathroom trips at controversial times) It will go away, and someone else will be the talk of the town next you just have to wait it out...

Unfortunately you can't convince them so when they call you to the guidence office just start acting like its a treat that gets you out of class, if they ask you whats wrong or ask about an eating problem tell them lunch was wonderful and its nice to know that you'll be wasting time again being in their office, if that doesn't work just don't talk to them and let your parents know whats going on and that you do not want/need to be wasting class time being talked to about a prob you don't have.

You're very thin, but you're also young, and you'll fill out soon enough. Your weight loss probably alarmed some people, because they don't understand that you are naturally thin, but most of their malice probably stems from jealousy. Most girls want to be tall and thin, but most aren't. They can't understand why you are, so they make up nasty rumors. It hurts, it sucks - but it really doesn't matter. Don't let them force you into eating lots of junk just to conform to their standards. Talk to your friends about it, and ignore the ones who aren't your friends.

You could also consider modeling. Many runway models are really young, and it would be a great way to turn a trait that people are bullying you about into a career. It will probably make them much more jealous....but this jealousy would be the kind you can enjoy. :)

What is causing you to get sent to the guidance office on a daily basis? Put a little weight back on through good nutrition and talk to your parents or guardian about what is going on at school. You're not losing your mind.

This is a normal part of school and once you graduate, this will all be nothing but a MEMORY and thats it. All the stupid other girls will all look back and feel different and may mess up their lives somehow when they get older. Im 25 and I was made fun of and harrassed most of junior high and high school, I know what your going through. Just remember it will not matter in a few years.

If you are eating healthy and lost the weight, great, good for you.

Don't worry about what others think. Make it clear to them that you just are eating better and they can look better if they do too!

When they stare and talk in front of you, smile and say, "I stopped eating unhealthy foods and lost 20 lbs., I feel so good now".

Even though its hard, try and act like the stuff people say doesn't bother you. Try to show confidence. If someone says something about you to your face just shrug it off. It may hurt you on the inside when it happens but when all of it goes away you'll fell alot better about your self.

120 a 5'10" is very thin. They are concerned and want the best for your health. Eat healthy, get exercise, get some sunshine, sleep well...... this will all help.

Trust what others say. They care but it seems like it is not very positive now..... understand that they have your best interest in mind.

When i deal with rumors about me at school i usaully just ignore the ignorant people and tell the guidance counsler that your not and if she don't believe you well thats her problem.
Just as long as you know that your not bulimic
