how do i photoshop 2 pictures together?

2 pictures into one then add text into it. thanks

Open a new empty document (File > New) large enough to contain both pictures and leave it open. Then open one of the pictures, select it pressing CTRL+A, copy and paste it on the document. Using the move tool (press V), move the picture on one side of the document. Now do the same things with the second picture. When you have arranged the pictures on the document click on the text tool (T) and type your text.

Use 3 Layers then merge them when you have finished the file. And have a look on YouTube if you still can't figure it out.
