Holy cow you just described what i did! Oh my! do you know me? lol. Yeah i must admit, I did those things, I asked this girl to homecoming and ditched her to dance with this other girl, and now i asked this girl out and shes now my girlfriend and well i flirt this girl in my chemistry class, And i like to fix my hawk in the mirror alot... Are you Rona Castro? lol just kidding. I don't know why i did that, i really felt like i needed more than one girl to know how it feels, i know that was a messed up move but oh well.. I told my g/f and she got mad at first but now i give her all my attention. So Guys like me really can change from jerks to gentlemen. I'm a example! Sorry for experienceing a jerk. Im glad i changed.

Um you do realise that not all guys do this. It is probably just a proportion of the population. The guys who do this purhaps feel that they can do this and have felt like it worked in the past why cant it work again.
Also guys who look in the mirror and fix their hair are normal. However there are some who are obsessed with appearances and think that they perhaps need to constantly fix their hair in order to gain that security.

I'm yet a little young. But at such a young age when you got to like 1-5. You know your mom goes all like brush your hair to your side and stay like that with this annoying spray. After, when we grow up we have the privilege to fix our hair, so no one will laugh at us. It's a common thing.

Some guys are just too self obsessed to really be anything more than "fun dates" they have no real partner potential until they mature. Guys who check themselves out are just vain and that means they will never notice you since they are so busy noticing themselves. IMHO if your guy is like the one you mention - dump him. Really you can do better - anyone can. This guy will be a perpetual child until he meets a domineering and manipulative vanity queen and then they will spend all their time and money on being "beautiful". They are just shallow and superficial so look for a guy who can hold a conversation on something you enjoy while looking you in the eye. If a guy can't hold a conversation now there is never going to be potential for a real relationship. Good Luck!

First of all, there are all sorts of different guys out there. If they act like jerks, it's either because they are just jerks or they act like that around people they like. Guys can be immature for a while, but eventually mature.
Guys look in mirror? O__O That never happens. They don't care about their hair unless it's a REALLY important event. They rather have it messy.

Boys are always up to impressing girls.
And they are looking for respect from the girls,
so that the girls will go
"wow you are good at that" or.. "you look nice!"
Boys really like it when someone compliments them
that's not EVERYTHING they are asking for, but they
really like respect, and if they do not feel like they are getting it,
then maybe that is why they might act like jerks.
but I am not a boy so I would not know for sure. But the stuff I did say, I read in a book yesterday LOL!

"For Young Women Only" by: Shauntie Feldhahn and Lisa A. Rice
Someone just posted about that book. I LOVE THAT BOOK! It has all the answers to stuff like this.
Guys feed of compliments.
Oh, and they really want respect.

Boys and girls look for different things: Girls are looking for their romantic, knight in Shining Armor. They think the guy they fall for should be "McDreamy", or whatever ELSE Hollywood tries to paint being a woman means. Guys are just looking for a piece of ***. If you won't be that piece, they'll look for a piece somewhere else.
And NOW, you see the difference between a boy and a MAN.

because women tolerate it...
if we banded together and started saying see ya the second they screwed up - they would modify their behavior for the next girl or get dumped again.. but we do not do that - do we? Instead of looking at the larger picture and saying modification takes time - but if we all stuck to it, eventually there would be a lot better pick of men out there for everyone.
