I've recently let my hair grow out (from the dye) as I was sick of the shade. I don't mind the natural colour I have now, but I want to go one blonde shade lighter and wonder if anyone knows how to without damaging my hair too much?

I suggest trying Natural Match by L'Oreal. It's multi-dimensional so your hair will look natural. You can choose to go a bit lighter too.

I've tried it all. I have kindof mousy blonde hair that looks blah without a little bit of color in it. Steaks are usually pretty nice and the roots won't show much when it grows out. Or just buy some permanent color just a shade lighter. Don't go too light or your hair will have a brassy tone to it. I use Superior Preference medium blonde and its not too light. It has never damaged my hair at all. My hair actually feels better after I color it. It's alot cheaper than going to the hairdresser every month. Just touch up the roots every 4-6 weeks. Hope this helps!

Use semi-permanent hair color. It will keep it less damaging than permnent ones.
