file types are .r00 to .r17, .rar, .sfv, and the file that looks like the one to click- .xvid-xor which is apparently an NFO file. I used to know this stuff but forget now. I have videolan, winrar and other stuff. So how do I play it?

I still cannot get it to work after trying all four of your answers. Could you please be a bit more specific? Where do I double click .r01? In winrar, or at the actual file?

And I still do not fully understand winrar. Please help me in detail. Thanks in advance.

What you got is a multi-part RAR file. The SFV is a checksum file and you don't really need that. Just open the RAR file and extract the file (you don't need the NFO either).

EDIT: I said OPEN THE RAR FILE. Why did you NOT FOLLOW instructions? Did I say to open any other file? (*sigh*)

If you have winrar, all you need to do is double click on .r01 and it will open so you can extract and open the file.
