What can this be? At first I thought I had a shaving cream that i might be allergic to. I tried like every different shaving cream on the market and I had no change, my chin was still red. So I thought maybe I was shaving in a very very sensitive area and so I completely stopped shaving for about 6 months now (I just trim it now with an electric shaver - the blade DOES NOT come into contact with my skin) and my chin is stilll red... It looks like a rash but I have no clue... What can be causing this? What can I do to stop it from being red? Its a very embrassing problem but I dont know if I should go to the doctor... I have tried hydrocortizone cream but that doesnt work either... Please help

This could be a form of rosacea. Symptoms of rosacea include: Areas of redness on your face; Small red bumps or pustules on your nose, cheeks, forehead, and/or chin; Small blood vessels on your nose and/or cheeks (called telangiectasia); Tendency to flush or blush.

You can check with your doctor for a treatment, but if you do not want to use a prescription medicine then here are some natural ways to control the symptoms of rosacea.
Chrysanthellum Indicum Cream-reduces redness
Green Tea Cream-reduces bumps and pustules
Niacinamide Cream-improves moisture and reduces
inflamation
Licorice-reduces redness
B Vitamins-helps diet, and reduces skin mites
