my boyfriend is way too shy! I've tried telling him that he can talk to me about anything! we've dated last year, and this has been 2 months now since we got back together! We're in the 8th grade! So there are PLENTY of things to talk about! I know he likes me, he tells my best friend to tell me stuff instead of saying it to my face though! My best friend says he is REALLY into me, but he doesn't know what to say!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO???

You need to say and do things that make him feel better about himself, like perhaps getting him to help you with some homework and then making him feel good about knowing the answers.and tell him how good he looks in something he is wearing. You can also get him to go to the website As A Man Thinketh and read that and it may help him build up his confidence. Find out what he is really interested in and if you get him talking about that he may forget to be shy as well.
Remember that it is better that he is shy than to be not shy and cheating on you with other girls. Good Luck!

he's just shy because he doesn't want to say or do something that you might think is not"cool"
just give him some time
he's fragile .
good luck! =)
