I can't speak for your republican friends but the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants/undocumented workers in this country are Mexican.

You are correct, there are illegal immigrants, people who have overstayed their visas from all over the world. The reason Mexicans are brought up though, is because the majority of the illegal immigrants abusing social services and being incarcerated for crimes is much greater than any from other countries.

I think I read somewhere that 9 times as many Mexicans are in our jails.

There are illegals from a lot of other countries but no where near the number of people coming in from South America and the Polish illegals are not demonstrating ,demanding that we all learn to speak Polish and threaten to take over parts of the U.S.A.

When Polish people come to this country in the numbers that Mexicans have come, then you will hear a backlash against Polish illegals. You idiots who think that this is a racial matter should do some research into the anti-(white)immigrant hostility that greeted German, Italian, Polish newcomers in the late 1800s-early 1900s.

No one is thrilled with immigrants, coming in large numbers, of ANY race. (That's just human nature.) Illegal immigrants are even LESS welcome.

On a national level, the majority of illegals happen to be Mexican. It may have something to do with the long, ungaurded border we share with that nation. The vast majority are from Latin America, as a whole. After that, the next largest general group of illegals is from Asia.

That's why you don't here a lot about illegals immigrating from one, specific, european country.

But, like all illegals, they should be deported, too, and employers hiring them should be prosecuted.

ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL!

I don't care if the illegal is from Poland, England, Canada or Peru - THEY SHOULDN'T BE HERE!!!!!

The Mexicans are more in your face and there are millions more of them but they are the Polish illegals are just as much criminals as the Mexicans.

Polish people do not come to America to
try to change the culture, language, etc.
They come to make a living.
They are happy trying to learn english.
They do not gang up on others, demand anything from the government, or over populate.
Maybe that is why.

Yes , that's how it is. If you are a white european immigrant you are welcome here in USA, white american people even like the european accent. I have seen that many times and in different places. So, yes, there is a difference in the treatment of different groups of immigrants.
Oh, and something else, all of southern USA belonged to Mexico some years ago, and it was stolen from Mexico, but history tells you something else of course. That's why many towns names in southern USA remain in spanish to prove it.
