I used to get my son up at midnight to go potty. After a few nights, maybe a week, he learned to get up himself when he had to go. Plus, he didn't like the feel of being wet. Go get some of those large pads that they use to cover the matress, and layer her sheets. Sheet then pad, then another sheet and pad, and maybe even a 3rd. This way, when she does wet the bed, you're not changing sheets at 3 am. Just pull off the top layer, clean her up, and change the childs clothes.

The way I did it was to put her to bed at normal time (7pm), make sure she had a wee first, then off to bed. I didnt give her anything to drink after 6pm and explained to her why.

I would then go wake her up at about 11 to get her up for a wee. She always had a wee at this time, i did it for about 10 days or so, then she started waking up at this time herself to go to the loo. she was then dry through the rest of the night.

I did this about the same age, and she caught onto it really quick.

If you are gonna start doing it, she needs to be ready - nappy not too full of wee in the mornings.

It worked well for us, my neighbour did it the same way with her three kids, and all was fine.

She will have the occasional accident, this is to be expected. Just make sure youve got some spare sheets handy so you can remake the bed in the middle of the night!

She is 5 now and has been totally dry since, no accidents since about 5 weeks after I started doing it.

Don't let her drink anything an hour before she goes to bed. And have her go to potty before bed. Example. If she goes to bed at 9 then she can't have anything after 8 clock. That want I did with my son and he never peed the bed. But he must know when had to go potty this when he was 4. I see him middle of night going potty and go right back to bed.

what worked for my two year old was to let him pick out some underwear from the store and told him they were special and he couldn't wet them i put plastic lined sheets on his bed and let him sleep in his new underwear. it took a couple of times of him waking up in the middle of the night telling me he was wet but now at three he gets up on his own to go. i never had to wake him up to go potty. i think sub-conscience he knew he didn't have that security of a pull up on and nobody likes to sleep wet. as long as you keep putting them on him or her they will really on them even in their sleep. washing sheets was all i had to worry about. it worked with in a week.

Don't put them on?

Buy a plastic mattress cover and prepare for plenty of laundry?

I'm not taking my youngest out of night time nappies until he's at least 3.5.

i lift mine when trained during day

when they are fast asleep and you go to bed take potty into her room and sit her on it she will wee on potty but remain asleep, praise child in the morning saying wow what a big girl you are, eventually leave a potty in bedroom and encrouage her to use it or try gettng her to use "the big girls toilet"

get her to go to the toilet just before going to bed - give lots of praise when she gets through the night without doing it in bed - I think you jsut have to take the bull by the horns for a while unti lshe gets used to it!
