According to my observation.........every major religion i.e Christianity, Jewism, Hinduism,.................they are all united together against Islam. It seems like they are afraid of Truth of Islam that's why they are creating false image of Islam being religion of terrorists..........which is not the case.

Hello:

Well for starters I do agree that Islam has gotten a negative rap for several reasons, however I can assure you that at least Americans are equal opportunity haters...What I mean by this is: If I am say a white Christian that happens to be a racist then I would not only be hateful of Islam, but of other Christian religions, the Jews, and anyone that wasn't not only white...but probably a certain kind of white people.

if someone is just plain ignorant of others beliefs then I think they would be equally fearful regardless of the religion.

However, the tenant of Islam involving the holy war...it is at least played up in our culture and despite the awful s#!+ that our more popular religions have done in the past...I do not know that we have anything like the jihad. We do have the end of times...I think thats kinda different, however I admit ignorance to most of Islams teachings.

As for united, nah. I can assure you that we fear and mistrust each other at least as much as we do you. Really having the whole "terrorist" label getting attached almost exclusively to Islam's followers doesn't help the group though.

For what its worth, remember the Spanish Inquisition? I am sure some still hate us for that and it was 450 years ago and 3000+ miles away, but I mean Religions not meant to be totally rational.

Outstanding question. I'm going to give you a star for this. The truth is that none of these and both of these fear their own God. It's called fundamental extremism. Judeism can be guilty of fundamental extremism, but you rarely hear about it, with the exception being politics in Jerusalem. Fundamental Christianity and Fundamental Islam tend to run neck and neck. The largest difference is that there are some Islamic countries who operate by the code of law of the Quran, sometimes stretching their ideologies into flagrant civil rights violations. Currently, fundamental Christianity does not have such extremes that have completely infiltrated their political infrastructure...yet. When it does, it will be no better than the government in Iran, or the Taliban. Fundamental extremism is dangerous in ANY faction.

It is simply not the case that these religious groups are united against Islam. The world is not run by religious groups. Governments are naturally going to react to threats against them, from whatever religious or political persuasion they come from. It may be true that some are afraid of the spread of Islam, but that is not because they are afraid of the truth of Islam. They do not want to see more terrorism which is what they associate with Islam. Please try to look at the situation from the point of view of the average person living in a non-Muslim, esp. Western country. If your country has suffered a terrorist attack from people claiming to do their acts in the name of a religion that you know nothing about, one which they claim tells them to kill the infidels, what would you think?

I can only stand for Christianity because I am not sure about the other doctrines, but the Christian religion DOES NOT unite against Islam. A true Christian recognizes that they are fellow humans and deserve that respect. Also, a true Christian researches and realizes that there are billions of Muslims who are not terrorists. Christianity is not against Islam, some silly people who consider themselves Christian might be though...

This seems like asking why all Muslims are terrorists to me. They aren't. Following logic, neither are all Christians

Actually, it is more the case that Islam and Christianity are united against Hinduism and Buddhsim, especially in India.

We are afraid because Islam WAS spread by the sword. Islam has been responsible for genocide after genocide. The biggest genocide in the entire history was that which islam commited against Hinduism in India. The murder of over one hundred million hindus across the entire tenure of mughal oppression.

Muslims do not even consider non-muslims to be human. They rape their women, they murder their menfolk, they chastise and isult their religions. Muslims will not stop at anything. That is why we are afraid.

It is the fact those suicidal maniacs blow themselves and other people up, Or chop peoples heads off!! All in the name of their god!! Thats what is creating that image of them being terrorists! Hello?? Has one "peaceful" Islamic leader come out and condemn that terrorist action? NO!!

I noticed something different:
Some fanatical Christians say that Muslims & Liberals are the same. Some Baptist Christians say that Muslims are like Catholics.

The paranoid people usually feel that every one else is against them. The real big picture is totally different.

It's not other religions giving Islam a bad name, it's the terrorists giving your religion a bad name. I know Islam is a very peaceful religion, but others are ignorant to to this fact.

It is one of the fastest growing religions, I say you don't have too much to worry about.

They don't fear the religion. The religion is an idea or set of beliefs. Some people who believe in other religions don't like the islam religion because they believe in different things. Many people fear muslilms because many terrorists are muslims. that there is a fact, and i don't like just as much as u do.

i applaud your defense of islam, unfortunately not everybody thinks like muslims do, untill the truth is apparent then they will always be in doubt, on the return of isa will the truth be truly declared and accepted by the other faiths, cant wait, then we will truly have the peace of the knowledge of god, ameen
