what does beliving what you choose mean?

I just heard this the other day.. the ultimate lie is that people create their own reality. WOW! I think thats what you mean by beleiving what you chose. society has created it's own reality. Like you have to work 9 to 5 and drive a new car and be in debt and when you get sick you take a million pills. Sickness is beleiving what you chose. example " I better go get the flu shot so I dont get it this year" your beleiving that your going to get the flu, and you probebly will. The only true reality is that of God. He created us in HIS image (wrap your brain around that) Why do you think people are so miserable? They deny the reality of God and create their own. They are going against the grain of who they are as children of the living God. Hence the ultimate lie of society today.
