Sometimes it's not the venue that doesn't allow cameras, it's the artist performing. I would check your ticket stub, and also check the Staple's Center website.
The worst they can do when they pat you down on the way in is tell you 'no cameras' and hopefully it's not a long way back to your car!

"fiery red" has it right. It's not the arena, it's the event. If there is a rodeo, motocross race or monster truck show, cameras are no problem. If it is a musical performance, some artists will insist that cameras not be allowed.

Check with the producers of the event for any specific limitations.

Did you mean "allowed"? If so, probably not. Get caught with one and it will be confiscated and you'll never see it again.
