Nursing is in very much demand here and on the Australian Skills shortage list so that is a big plus for you.
So for information and visa options for doctors and nurses who want to work in Australia see http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/medical-practitioners/index.htm

I'm an Aussie presently living overseas. It seems nursing is always in demand so if you would like some idea of jobs and money, I suggest you log on to www.seek.com.au as there are plenty of jobs there for you both in Australia and overseas. Good luck!

we always want more nurses here in australia, but it all depends where you want to live, if you want to live in TAS. it will be a lot colder than QLD.
