First, take the male out of the cage. She will get pregnant again right away if he stays in with her. Females will die from having too many litters of babies. If your hamsters are Syrian, they should be caged separately or else they will kill each other. If they are dwarfs, they should only be kept in same sex pairs or groups.
As far as taking care of this litter, just leave the mother alone and be sure she has plenty of fresh food and water. Grapes or bits of melon are good to encourage her to nurse. Boiled egg is one of the best foods for a mother and her litter. Be sure she stays in a quiet place where there are no drafts to make them cold. She knows what to do, and they should be fine. Hope you have homes for them!

oh. wow. Ok. nervous hamster mothers may eat their yong in the week after birth if they are distubed so only change the little in the urine corner. only remove the young after 3 to four weeks at the earliest. also check the nest every evening. If there is a dead baby remove it when the mother is distracted or not there. NEVER go bare fingered. for the first few days after the birth the female will never leave the young. She will nurse them. take them out of the cage in about 21 days or else they will reproduce more. AWWW you are so lucky they are gonna be soooo cute. Decide who you are gonna give them too because if kept together they will fight. Add exra nesting and avoid sudden loud noises and provide a diet rich in vitamins and protien. Never change the nest. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Do not touch the babies
2. Do not clean the cage for now - leave around 2 weeks
3. Leave the mother in peace to care for her babies
4. After 4 weeks separate the babies from the mother
5. Provide good protein food for the mom and babies like: break soaked in milk

DONT touch them. And take the dad out. Don't leave any scent on the cage or babies or she will eat them. Every hamster will need it's own cage when they hit 3weeks, not boys with dad girls with mom the parents will eat them.

Do not touch them no matter what. If anything is wrong with the babies, the mother will take care of it. Take the dad out. Males tend to kill babies because they can. Or the femal will kill him.
