First time with a litter of puppies!

I heard so many times that you are not supposed to hand held the puppies, or the mother will not want them no more.

Please help.

That is TOTALLY not true!!! How the heck are you going to examine them for defects?? You are to look them over, especially the roof of the mouth, for birth defects.
You also have to move them to clean them DAILY!!!
You also need to socialize them!

Only the adults in the house should be having any contact with them at this age. Do not invite the neighbors over for show and tell.

You really should learn more before breeding.

let the mother have the puppies for one day and then when they are 1 day old, you need to teach the mom that it is okay to have her puppies handled. that is not true though, my friend had puppies and the mother was great about handling them before they could open their eyes. you can help with the birth. USE NO NEGATIVE REACTIONS IF SHE TRIES TO BITE!!!! YOU MUST BE VERY CALM AND RELAXED WHEN TOUCHING THE MOM FOR THE FIRST TIME. Tough the mother and them after a while, if she lets you, stroke the puppies and then you may pick them up

Young people shouldn't mess with the puppies too much at all. Adults would have no problem with some interaction. Mom won't abandon them.

This is not true you will need to weigh them each day to be sure they are growing you will need to feel to be sure they are not cold to the touch most moms who love and trust you will not mind you handling them just be careful not to drop them

Yes, of course you can touch them. I wouldn't allow small children to handle them, as they may squeeze them.

Don't allow a lot of people to come near them though until they have all their vaccines.

I think your statement pertains to baby BIRDS!

yes.. NEVER EVER TOUCH THEM!!!!
Just kidding. You obviously know nothing about breeding dogs. Please keep us informed about how many of them end up in a shelter. Statistically speaking, at least 1/2 of them will. Good Luck.
