Agellius, so I guess it's a numbers game. We shouldn't pay attention to those who commit crimes in the name of Christianity just because they don't achieve high scores? 1 death is just as atrocious as 3000.

When Bush started his wars, he used a Christian religious discourse. He and his team killed more people than those killed by Muslim extremists. I believe that it is neither the blame of Islam nor Christianity.

But anyway, yes when the cold war was finished, there was a need to create another enemy in order to justify the spending in armament etc. This enemy happens to be Islam.

Peace-salaam.

Salam

Those who don't believe have the money and they use every single religious organisation as a scapegoat the same way they used Moses, Jesus and could not do the same to Muhammed SAW.
The very people that hold the money are the people that don't believe in The Lord and they are not part of any organisation other than what can keep filling their pockets. When are you all going to wake up in another 500 years. How many more times does the Lord have to show you the proof and intercede?

"yet why do they shoot one yet another and blow themselves up" Sunan Abu-Dawud: e book 40, selection 4579: Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Apostle of Allah stood between us & suggested': 'beware! the individuals of the e book till now (you) have been chop up up into seventy two sects,& this community would be chop up up into seventy 3, seventy two of them will pass to Hell and considered one of them will pass to Paradise, & that's maximum individuals team" enable us to make certain what we understand right here, is this why Sunnis are bombing Shi'ite mosques, to be maximum individuals team? it rather is the reason Muslims bl0w issues up, use teenagers as toddler squaddies, shields plus in fact each and everything you hear Muslims doing. they do no longer record it the place you reside as a substitute they broadcast it over there in Africa and the East. that's has each and everything to do with Islam or faith regularly and hardly approximately politics and oppression. For muslims vi0lence is often the respond.

Because Islam has nothing to do with terrorism, just like Christianity. But simple people need a group to label as enemies or a term to use that makes them feel like they are the good guys.

Actually anyone who says they are a Christian and goes around killing for any reason other than protection of innocent people, is misrepresenting true Christianity. I wish Mr. Bush would lead us all in prayer once a day and take a defensive (build up our protection here and not go over there) stance but there is nothing I can do about that.

I don't point at the religion... I point at the person. There are terrorists in both Islam and Christianity... but there are also some good people in those religions (we just gotta dig through the BS to find them).

Because of who is being prolific about the terror and the attacks.

The larger question would be this - are they true christians or are they a wolf in sheeps clothing?

'tis a good point.

we don't lambaste christianity when timothy mcveigh blows up a building in OK city. we blame the nut job...not the faith.

i'm with you to a point....but

"Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion." Steven Weinberg

i'm against all religion for the fact that fundie sects of any faith will always use religion to commit acts of atrocity.
