Does Wellbutrin's effectiveness diminish during period?

I have just started Wellbutrin and been on it for about 10 days. These days have been an excellent change for me, but the day I started my period, I started to get anxious and overwhelmed again. Should I consider this just the PMS (which I can get bad) and expect the Wellbutrin to work once it's over? Or might this be a sign that it's not working anymore?

Antidepressants generally take a lot longer than 10 days to start noticeably working. More like a month or more. So I'd say the positive changes you've noticed already are a placebo effect. Your PMS could very likely be the cause of your anxiety. It's not that the drug has stopped working, but that it has not fully kicked in yet.
