I'm convinced that my children are better off without me.
Evidently, explination is necessary. My ex took my oldest three children to california two and a half years ago. I've not seen them since then. I have not had the finances to go down to visit them. He won't let me talk to them on the phone because he's a jack*ss and now they don't know me. It would be wrong of me to waltz into their lives now and say "Hey, I'm the woman who gave birth to you...sure i haven't been around, but that's not my fault, you should come live with me". It doesn't work like that in the minds of children.....as much as I wish it did.....

I ran a red light today. And there is a BIBLE VERSE on my license plate. And the little light (camera enforced intersection!) flashed and now everyone at the DMV is going to know that a Christian ran a red light.
My face is red as well.

Sorry, but I obey the Federal laws of my country, the State laws of my state, as well as local county and city ordinances. As lip service to religion, I do obey the Golden Rule. Beyond that, I have no obligation to avoid offending your imaginary Deity. Unless you are prepared to prove your God actually exists in the universe I currently occupy, the concept of sin is utterly meaningless.
As a law abiding citizen, I accept responsibility for my own actions. What I do not accept is guilt for having been born a human being (Original Sin). Neither do I accept guilt for supposedly violating the wishes of an imaginary God who is Himself an unrepentant multiple mass murderer. I owe nothing -- least of all, guilt -- to a mythological being who is infinitely more evil than myself.

pastor/minister why you ask people to confess their sins here? i dont deny i am a sinner. are your intentions to glorify their sins? these sins are known by those who it matters to ...god and the sinner. dont expose them for your gain. any one who denies they are a sinner needs to look in the mirror real close, realize mankind killed jesus christ; we were cleansed in his blood. we are murderers and multilators. shame on you for denying it.

I support eugenics, but that's not really a sin, it's just a social taboo.
