I assume you're licensed to diagnose this and can differentiate it from other staph infections?

The ill are not a legally protected class, so you can ask him to leave. However, the risk of other people at the bar getting this from him is slight. Remind people to wash their hands with soap and make sure your dishwasher is doing a good job. Add an disinfectant to your bar rag and you're good to go.

I'll have the house white wine, please.

To tell you the truth how did he leave the hospital with that??? MRSA is a pretty infectious disease you are able to tell the customer because of his condition he should not be in the facility and should go and see the doctor ASAP. MRSA isnt something to mess with, I know since I work in the healthcare field.

IF THIS IS WHAT HE HAS HE WILL BE DEAD SOON....and the rest of you and anyone he has contact with is in danger.
No it's not discrimination....it is simply a public health & safety factor. For my own safety as an employee I would call the police and ask them....Have them stop by when he is there. Gosh that is so scary....one 6th grade kid here in my town in Ca died this summer of MRSA....he didn't want to leave 6th grade camp...so he told his buddy not to tell anyone he was sick. Very sad....

If he has MRSA and is on antibiotics, he should not be drinking. The two do not mix. Refer him to this site and tell him to order some Silver Solution. As this is non-toxic, it doesn't interfere with his drinking habits and will kill the pathogens.

From what I hear about it, you can only catch it if you have a weakened immune system, such as eldery or already ill people, or if you have an open wound. I can't blame you for being concerned, a customer at my previous job had SARS and I was really worried about it too.
