1. Vodka has to much alcohol in it to freeze in a standard home refrigerator.

2. If doesn't make a big difference in my opinion and that is all you will get.. opinions. I tend not to put it in the freezer since I have a shaker and can ice it before serving. If you don't have one then go ahead and put it in.

Vodka Freezer

Vodka does not freeze at that temperature, therefore the bottle will not expand. As a Russian (aka Vodka Specialist), I recommend keeping it in the freezer. The cold takes away the burn if you choose to drink it straight (especially if you're drinking the cheap stuff)

It depends on what you plan on doing with it. If you plan on drinking it straight, the freezer is a fine place to keep it.
If you plan on making cocktails with it, by all means DON"T keep it in the freezer. Part of a good cocktail is the water that melts off the ice during shaking or stirring, and if the vodka is too cold, the ice won't melt at all.

I store my vodka in the freezer. I much prefer to enjoy my drinks chilled.

We always store ours in the freezer - it will not freeze due to the alcohol content.

With flavoured Vodka or schnapps I always all a little (and I mean a little) water before putting it in the freezer and you end up with Vodka (Schnapps) slush puppies!

NICE!

Freeze it. The lower temperature masks some of the alcohol flavors, making it more neutral. If you have a good quality vodka, this should make it quite smooth, like the Ketel One I've had.

It has too much alcohol to freeze, it just becomes a really cold liquid. You can use less ice if you wish...just means more vodka!

After working in a liquor store I was told to store your expensive vodka in the freezer. Then you don't have to drink it with ice and loose the flavor. Mine is stored on top of the frig. for easy access!! (needless to say it isn't expensive!)
