over the summer, i hooked up with this guy. its a loooooooong story, but basically i was in love, and he hated me, but made me think he liked me( or so i heard) it has been 3 months sience the break up and im still not over him. i dont know if i should go for him, or get another guy? can someone help me????

You should find someone else. If it's true that he really did hate you, why would you want to try a relationship with him again? It will be hard to get over him, but it's going to take time. Trying to get him back and opening the wound is going to make it even harder to get over him.

stay single for awhile. It's not a requirement for women to have a man. You should never 'go for a man' that you know doesnt not return your feelings.
You definiately should not go for another guy when you know that you are not emotionally over your ex.
Enjoy your life and do things for you.

why would you hook up with someone who hated you? cmon, now. there are so many people out there, and more than one is bound to "like" you, unless you are loony. raise your standards and you'll receive what you put out there. furthermore, if he doesn't like you, then move on. find someone who does.
