.If you just type "Moving to Belize"into that little white box at the top right of this page that says web search you will get all the information you need about moving to and/or living in Belize

I can't help but wonder how you could possibly come to the conclusion that you wanted to live in Belize without doing any research? I've lived and worked in Belize before and have nothing bad to say about it but I wouldn't want to live there permanently.

This elderly lady my mom knows had vacationed there. She was telling my mom they should move there as it cheaper for retired people to live.
Years ago I researched this. Many different opinions. One site was Official, I not have it. But, it say you could not work, they want their jobs for their people, unlike USA. But, this may have changed and it may not exclude a person starting a business to employ the locals.
They did mention a certain Income minimum, I was thinking it $2,500 per month. This too may not be today. Mainly they want immigrates to be self sufficient or provide for the economy by starting a business. They not want more people to care for. Here a link, it, not look official.
