I have a Selmer Bb Clarinet, any tips?

Press upwards with your bottom lip, fast. It's quite hard to do and is sore on your lip.

We don't use vibrato on clarinet except in some very rare instances when playing jazz. Almost all teachers insist on a pure uninterrupted tone and it is the "sound" best suited for band and orchestra playing.

If you must; the best vibrato is the result of good, well supported, diaphragmatic breathing. A jaw shaking vibrato just makes you sound nervous.

On flute, you use your diaphragm to vary the air flow. I would have thought that the same would be true for the clarinet.
