im sorta of a beginner on guitar and i need to start to learn how to play chords but i REALLY REALLY suck so i am asking anyone for their help if they can give me tips, tricks, instructions, songs to practice etc... anything that you feel is important and will make me a better guitarist

OK. Get urself a book of chords. Choose 3 easy ones- A D E
Start with A. When U can play that, go on to D. When you can play that, practise changing between them. Then go on to E. Same thing. Learn the chord, then practise changing between all 3. When you can do that , there are stacks of soongs U can play. Johnny B Goode. Hound Dog. Blue Suede Shoes to name but 3. Hope this helps

if you can manage to log onto yahoo questions you can surely type in "guitar chords" into google ??????........I have been playing for 25 years...one tip.....the first six months are frustrating ......the rest are enlightening.......give up at your peril and find like minded musicians........Wish u Happy times.....Ben

It does suck but bend that wrist and practice,practice,practice,eventually you'll be playing in your sleep. No Problemo
